Abu Dhabi [UAE], March 10: In an exciting first leg of the Europa League round of 16 match against Sporting Lisbon, Arsenal won a hard-earned draw.
Although Xhaka's cross was fortunate to be diverted in making it 2-2, Arsenal was in control for the majority of the game.
They will back themselves to finish the tie off at the Emirates.
In other clashes, Rome defeated Spain's Real Sociedad 2-0; Hungary's Ferencvaros lost 2-0 to Germany's Bayer Leverkusen; and Union Berlin tied 3-3 vs Belgium's Union Saint-Gilloise.
