Shrine of Hazrat Makhdoom Shah unites various faiths

Surat (Gujarat), March 06 (ANI): The dargah of Hazrat Peer Makhdoom Shaheed in Surat city of Gujarat has remained an epitome of communal harmony since ages. Also, renowned among devotees as ‘Baavan Gaj ki dargah’, the shrine of the Sufi Saint is incredibly long measuring around fifty-two yards. Devotees from different religious backgrounds pay a visit here. Some tie sacred knots on the gates of the shrine and some offer small toys at the Dargah to get their wishes fulfilled.
