Odisha turns artsy amid G20 meeting; hosts CM-inaugurated event ‘Sustain: The Craft Idiom’ in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), May 16 (ANI): Turning all artsy amid India’s G20 Presidency, Odisha hosted the ‘Sustain: The Craft Idiom’ event in Bhubaneswar. The 7-day event was inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and is being held at the Kala Bhoomi- Odisha Crafts Museum from 16 to 22 May. The event was also attended by Union Tourism, Culture and Development of Northeast Region Minister G Kishan Reddy. The program, which is a cultural exhibition, is a side event being held at the Second G20 Culture Working Meet. The Culture Ministry-organised exhibition is all about expressions of India’s ‘age-old living heritage and indigenous knowledge systems’. With its engaging artifacts represented by people from across the country, the project has garnered a lot of praise. Further showcasing their brilliant talents at the event, the artists were also seen working on their craft pieces dedicatedly. Delegates attending the exhibition, lauded the step and thanked the Indian Government for the invite.
